Community Governance Systems
Rejecting government overreach doesn’t mean rejecting community organization, it’s just acknowledging that we can take care of ourselves better from the bottom up than from the top down.
Reconstructivism provides a Community Governance System (CGS) framework that provides the structure for groups to organize, both independently and with each other.
It’s designed to centralize the bare minimum in order to facilitate decentralized scalability. Outside of that, we advocate for individual groups to govern themselves as they see fit so long as they respect basic rights and obtain consent.
These are meant to be tools to help you do what you want for your community, not absolute instructions that you must follow.
